Orchester-Workshop mit Daniel Barenboim

The Academy of Music Hanns Eisler Berlin holds regular public orchestral workshops and masterclasses, in which internationally renowned performers work with Academy students. The conductors Nikolaus Harnoncourt, Daniel Barenboim, Kent Nagano, Sir Simon Rattle, Christian Thielemann, Seiji Ozawa and Zubin Mehta have rehearsed with the Chamber orchestra and Symphony Orchestra. Midori and Thomas Quasthoff have worked in masterclasses with violin and singing students respectively. These public events take place in the Academy's concert hall, the Konzerthaus Berlin and in the chamber music hall of the Philharmonie. In the series "masterclasses fridays at 6" Academy teachers present their specialities and answer questions from the audience.

Information about future workshops and masterclasses can be found in our Diary of Events (available in German only).

Tickets are available through the Academy Ticket service.
