The Hochschule für Musik 'Hanns Eisler' offers a consecutive Master study programme for Correpetition.
The Master of Music - Correpetition is designed to prepare students for a successful career as répétiteurs of a high-quality opera theater or an academy/conservatory. This will be achieved by an individual subject-specific and general education in musicology as well as the teaching of other interdisciplinary skills.

| Main Subject Correpetition | The examination is divided into two rounds: First Round Accompaning an instrumental concert with a soloist on the level of a Berg violin concert After the first round the examination commission will decide about the admissions to the second round. Second Round ensemble rehearsal (30 minutes). The applicant is asked to show his/her abilities in working with singers. The candidates are expected to show appropriate rehearsal techniques as well as a realization of their individual ideas on interpretation. The musical piece will be announced approx. four weeks prior to the entrance examination. Singers will be provided by the academy. Applicants need to give proof of their above-average musical and pianistical talent. |
