Nadia Giner Enguix Solo trombonist with the Bergische Symphoniker orchestra

The 30-year-old Spanish trombonist and Eisler student Nadia Giner Enguix, who is currently completing her master's degree in Prof. Louise Pollock's class, was successful in her audition for the position of principal trombonist with the Bergische Symphoniker, the joint symphony orchestra of the cities of Remscheid and Solingen in the Bergisches Land region, and will soon take up her post there.
Born in La Pobla Llarga in Valencia, Spain, she first studied at the Escuela Superior de Música de Cataluña in Barcelona with Daniel Perpiñán and at the Haute École de Musique de Lausanne with Prof. Jacques Mauger before moving to Berlin in 2023 to study at the Eisler. In addition to her university education, she has completed masterclasses with Carlos Gil and Inda Bonet, among others. She has won first prizes at international music competitions such as the Concours International Leopold Bellan 2020 and the Concours des Clés d'Or 2021 in Paris, France, as well as the Chieri International Competition in Turin, Italy. Since December 2023, she has held a position as principal trombonist with the Osnabrück Symphony Orchestra.
