The Weihnachts-Eisler!
On Thursday, December 15th at 4:00 p.m., the first Christmas Eisler with a sing-along event will take place in the Marstall Lounge. University management and the staff council welcome this pre-Christmas initiative and cordially invite all university members to take part.
Eight choral works were submitted to the composition competition! All works will be appraised by the jury. The jury consists of Prof. Jörg Mainka, Prof. Tobias Walenciak, Prof. Maria Baptist, Prof. Sebastian Stier and Clàudia Ribera i Lladó. The best compositions in each category (composition, arrangement) will be awarded a certificate and a €50 voucher for the Dussmann culture department store.
At the event, some of the Christmas choral works by our fellow Eisler students will be sung under the direction of Prof. Tobias Walenciak’s choral conducting class. The winners of the composition competition will then be announced and the prizes awarded. Small things (biscuits, cakes, fruit) brought along are welcome for the festive and atmospheric conclusion. A cup of your own would be good. We are very happy about all participants and are excited to sing and hear the beautiful Christmas choir music!
