The Hanns Eisler School of Music Berlin becomes a member of the network of the newly created international artistic exchange program of the Royal Academy of Music in London. The program for global mobility and international cooperation starts in September 2022 with the financial support of Sir Elton John.
Students from twelve of the world's best music colleges can take part in the exchange with the traditional academy, which can vary between a week of intensive project work and, in exceptional cases, an entire academic year. Up to 20 students from all participating institutions will work on joint projects each year.
Sir Elton John, who has been closely associated with the Academy as an alumnus for years and has supported it, will finance the Global Exchange Program from a scholarship fund for highly talented musicians of various genres.
The Royal Academy celebrates its 200th anniversary in 2022. From the beginning, her professors and students were shaped by international and excellent musicians.
