Juliana Zara Ensemble member at the Staatstheater Darmstadt
Soprano Juliana Zara completed her Master's degree with Prof. Anna Korondi at the Eisler in 2020, was a member of the Opera Studio of the Bavarian State Opera from 2019 to 2021 and has been a member of the ensemble at the Staatstheater Darmstadt since the 2021/22 season, where she made her house debut as Daisy in "Ball im Savoy". In the current season she makes her role debut as Lulu (Alban Berg) and Zerlina in Don Giovanni.
Most recently she sang in Wolfgang Rihm's "Ophelia Sings" at the Bavarian State Opera in Munich as well as in the world premiere of the opera film "Transstimme", produced by the Munich Biennale, in the CD recording of "Der Kaiser von Atlantis", recorded with the Munich Radio Orchestra conducted by Patrick Hahn.
