Maria Eydman wins 1st prize at the Gina Bachauer Young Artists Competition
The young student of Prof. Eldar Nebolsin Maria Eydman won the gold medal of the renowned Gina Bachauer Young Artists Competition in Salt Lake City. The Gina Bachauer International Piano Foundation Prize is endowed with USD 15,000. The 16-year-old pianist is also a student at the Berlin Bach Gymnasium, which is affiliated with the university. The competition, which began in 2020, was postponed due to the pandemic and the final rounds were conducted through video recordings .
In December 2020 Maria Eydman had already won the online XIV Campillos International Piano Competition, one of the most important piano competitions in Spain.
