Constantin Stimmer
- Studies in composition with Adriana Hölszky, as well as in music theory with Prof. Dr. Franz Zaunschirm, Prof. Ernst-Ludwig Leitner, and Prof. Wolfgang Brunner at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, with a focus on “historical performance practices,” as well as music studies and dance studies at the Paris-Lodron University of Salzburg
- Master’s degree in historical and contemporary compositional techniques with Prof. Jörg Mainka, Prof. Maria Baptist, and Prof. Jürgen Ganzer at the Hanns Eisler School of Music Berlin with a focus on the didactics and pedagogy of music theory, as well as composition /arrangement
- Stimmer’s compositions have been performed by ensembles and orchestras such as the Françoise-Green Piano Duo, the Kammermusikensemble für Neue Musik Berlin (KNM), the Ensemble Zafraan, the Orchestra of the Komische Oper Berlin, and the Saxony Philharmonic Wind Orchestra
- 2017: involvement as a film composer in a silent film production for Arte/ZDF in collaboration with the Komische Oper Berlin (Kino Pravda, 2017)
- Collaboration with the award-winning film directors Alexandra Kaufmann (Being You - Being Me, 2013) and Friederike Güssefeld (KAI, 2016)
- As a music-graphics designer, collaborations among others with the Don Juan Archiv Wien, the Doblinger Verlag in Vienna, and the Sinfonietta Dresden
- Publication of numerous books and CD reviews, among others with the Acht Brücken-Festival für Neue Musik in Cologne in 2015, and at klassik.com
- From 2016 until 2018, lecturer at the Hanns Eisler School of Music Berlin in music-theory subjects; guest lectureship beginning in winter of 2018
- Appointed in November of 2018 to teach music-theory core disciplines at the renowned Barenboim-Said Akademie in Berlin
