  • Junior student with David Geringas in Lübeck, subsequent cello studies with Boris Pergamenschikow in Cologne and Berlin
  • Master classes with Anner Bylsma, Steven Isserlis and Ferenc Rados amongst others
  • Performances with numerous German radio symphony orchestras and renowned international orchestras
  • Collaboration with conductors such as Daniel Barenboim, Rafael Frühbeck de Burgos, Jonathan Darlington, Thomas Dausgaard, Christoph Eschenbach, Hans Graf, Ruben Gazarian, Manfred Honeck, Yakov Kreizberg, Sir Neville Marriner, Eiji Oue, Krzysztof Penderecki, Leonard Slatkin, Tugan Sokhiev, Lothar Zagrosek and David Zinman
  • Guest at numerous festivals including Casals Festival in Puerto Rico, City of London Festival, Penderecki-Festival in Warsaw, Jerusalem International Chamber Music Festival and festivals in Tanglewood, Ravinia and Aspen, regular guest at Chamber Music Festival Lockenhaus in Austria and Les Muséiques Festival in Basel
  • Initiation and development of project “Room for Pablo Casals" with painter Klaus-Peter Kirchner
  • Early success at international competitions such as the Tchaikovsky Youth Competition in Moscow and Rostropovich Competition in Paris, winner of 1. prize at Geneva International Music Competition 1995 and winner of the International Pablo Casals Competition at Kronberg Academy 2000
