Zoé Cartier

  • Cello studies at Hanns Eisler School of Music Berlin
  • Subsequently solo cellist at Magdeburg Opera
  • Concert performances as solo cellist and guest with various ensembles in Europe with the European Union Chamber Orchestra, Potsdam Chamber Academy, Ensemble Oriol, Ensemble Resonanz and Ensemble Kaleidoskop amongst others
  • Artistic collaboration with various artists such as the Sasha Waltz dancers and Berlin State Ballet
  • Collaboration on numerous interdisciplinary productions with Radialsystem Berlin and a staging by Falk Richter at Schaubühne Berlin amongst others
  • In 2009, founding of the Berlin String Construction ensemble, responsible for artistic program development
  • Since 2009, teacher for cello at “Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach” Music College Berlin
