Voice students internationally successful

Once again, several students from the voice classes have been honoured at international voice competitions. The 26-year-old baritone Bruno Meichsner, a Master's student in Prof Stephan Rügamer's class and of Prof Martin Bruns, was awarded 1st prize worth 8,000 euros at the 7th International Haydn Competition for Classical Lied and Aria in Rohrau, Lower Austria. He was also awarded the audience prize and the ‘Mozarthaus Vienna’ special prize.
At the 26th International Singing Competition ‘Mikuláš Schneider-Trnavský’ in Trnava, Slovakia, soprano Leyli Alina Schöfer (21), a Bachelor student of Prof. Anna Samuil, was awarded 1st prize in the category for women up to the age of 24. Soprano Duangamorn Fu (26), also a Master's student of Prof. Samuil, was awarded 2nd prize in the category for women up to 33 years of age, as well as the special prize for the best interpretation of a Mozart aria and the special prize from the mayor of the Slovakian town of Nové Zámky.
Soprano Oksana Pynchuk (28), a Master's student of Prof. Anna Samuil, was awarded 1st prize at the ‘Maria Cebotari’ 2025 International Singing Competition in Chisinau, Moldova. Mezzo-soprano Oleksandra Diachenko (27), a Master's student of Prof. Stephan Rügamer and Prof. Anna Samuil, was awarded the Grand Prix at the Odesa Music Olymp 2025, while soprano Alla Khaiut (29), a Master's student of Prof. Anna Korondi, was awarded 2nd prize at the 34th Ionel Perlea International Opera Competition in Slobozia, Romania, as well as the special prize of the National Theatre of Constanta.
