  • Advanced musical ability in the programme subject which must be demonstrated in the audition exam

Pre-selection

Procedure

For the pre-selection the platform muvac is used.

On muvac you can link PDF, JPG and PNG files as well as video and audio recordings from YouTube, Soundcloud, Vimeo, Youku and Dropbox on your profile.

Based on the linked files and audio/video recordings the pre-selection is made subsequent to the application period.

Please check that the recordings are available and accessable via the links provided (without password/no login function).

  • at least three meaningful own works.
Requirements Repertoire
  • several own compositions with various instrumentations in the form of written fixed scores and / or
  • audio-/video recordings of own works and / or
  • documentation of own sound installations or similar and/or
  • documentation of other own intermedia artworks with substantial electroacoustic elements

Audition Exam

Audition Programme

In the audition exam, applicants must display their special talent for electroacoustic music and their specific skills, elocution and knowledge.

  • To be submitted with the application:
    • several own compositions with various instrumentations in the form of written fixed scores or as audio or video recordings of own works and/or
    • documentation of own sound installations or similar and/or
    • documentation of other own intermedia artworks with substantial electroacoustic elements
  • Proof of a foundation of knowledge in the use of electroacoustic instruments and/or music software and/or other electroacoustic sound creating devices
  • Knowledge of important electroacoustic artworks of the past and present
