Die Absolventen: The oboe class of Prof Viola Wilmsen
Students from Prof Viola Wilmsen's oboe class will be guests on the rbb radio3 programme series ‘Die Absolventen’. Talk and concert will take place in the rbb Dachlounge, Studio 14.
The directing students bring scenes from George Frideric Handel's magic opera ‘Rinaldo’ to the stage with the voice students, showing the audience their perspectives on music theatre works.

The Eisler graduate from the class of Prof. Antje Weithaas has been teaching as Professor of Violin at the HMDK Stuttgart since the winter semester 2024/25.
Ander Perrino Cabello double bass professor in Munich
The Eisler alumnus was appointed to a double bass professorship at the University of Music and Dance in Munich. The solo double bassist of the DSO Berlin studied with Prof Esko Laine and Janne Saksala.
Great joy for our voice studies program: Baritone Samueol Park won 1st prize at the ARD Music Competition in Munich. He is studying for his Konzertexamen with Prof. Ewa Wolak.

The Czech-Chilean tenor and voice professor Hanns Stein has died at the age of 97. During the Pinochet dictatorship, he taught at the Eisler in exile from 1973 to 1980.

Daniel Kurz is principal clarinettist of the Kammerakademie Potsdam and Sophie Pardatscher was successful at the audition of the Deutsche Oper Berlin as deputy principal clarinettist/es-clarinet.
Solo positions for Balder Dendievel and Janos Wollenweber
Balder Dendievel will be principal oboist in the Philzuid Symphony Orchestra in the Netherlands and Janos Wollenweber won the audition to become principal oboist of the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra. Their audition period begins in autumn 2024.
This year, the Bayreuth Festival is staging a children's version of Wagner's opera ‘The Flying Dutchman’. Kerem Hillel from the Eisler directing class has staged the children's opera.
