  • Beginning in 2007: has directed educational projects regularly at various schools
  • 2006-2017: Teaching activities in the framework of the Internationale Ensemble Modern Akademie and at the Hochschule für Musik Frankfurt, as a guest lecturer with the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie, and at music academies in Karlsruhe, Berlin, Weimar, Beijing, Shanghai, Cracow, and Moscow, at the Academia Cervantina in Guanajuato/ Mexico, in Baku (Azerbaijan), in Manila (the Philippines), at the Sangat Festival in Bombay (India), at the International Clarinet Course in Prades (Spain), in Zhengzhou (China), on commission from the Goethe Institute at music academies in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, and Russia, and on commission from the Siemens Foundation with the project contempo primo in Beijing (China)
  • Since 2015: professor of chamber music for woodwinds at the Nuremberg University of Music, and since 2018, an instructor in contemporary music as well
  • Since 2020: clarinet instructor at the Hanns Eisler School of Music Berlin
