Ronald Herold

  • Studies in piano, coaching, and direction at the music academies in Leipzig and Berlin
  • Has worked at the Landestheater Altenburg (coaching) and the Metropol Theater Berlin (orchestral pianist, study director, conducting)
  • Active subsequently on a freelance basis, including participation in and direction of productions at the Kammeroper Rheinsberg, the Konzerthaus Berlin, the Theater Karlshorst in Berlin, the Oper Leipzig, the Theater Schwedt, the Staatstheater Cottbus, the Elblandfestspiele Wittenberge, and various independent productions in Berlin
  • Has toured Germany, and well as Malta and Luxembourg, as a pianist and music director with the “Berliner Märchenoper”
  • 2009, 2010: participation as a conductor with the Choriner Opernsommer
  • Since 1991: has held a teaching position at the Hanns Eisler School of Music Berlin
  • Has developed operettas and opera concerts with the quintet Frisch Gestrichen and various vocal soloists in Berlin
