  • Studies with Prof. Marie-Luise Neunecker at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts in Frankfurt/Main, graduation with concert exam; scholarship holder with the “Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes” (German Academic Scholarship Foundation) and the “Villa Musica”; prizewinner at numerous international competitions, among them the ARD Music Competition in Munich
  • From 1997 until 2016: solo horn player with the Frankfurter Opern- und Museumsorchester
  • Appearances as a soloist with a number of major orchestras, among them the SWR-Sinfonieorchester Stuttgart, the Münchner Symphonikern, the Internationale Bachakademie Stuttgart, the Württembergisches Kammerorchester, and the Britten Sinfonia, as well as collaborations with conductors such as Oleg Caetani, Toshiyuki Kamioka, and Helmuth Rilling
  • Appearances as a soloist in Sweden, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Croatia, China, and the United States, as well as at prestigious festivals, among them multiple appearances with the “Spannungen” Chamber Music Festival in Heimbach, the Moritzburg Festival, the Sommerliche Musiktage Hitzacker, and the Albert Musikfest Jahrhundertklang in Freiburg
  • Active as a chamber musician with various partners, including Christian Tetzlaff, Isabelle van Keulen, Kirill Gerstein, Lars Vogt, and Sharon Kam
  • Participation in premiere performances of chamber music works, among others by Jörg Widmann, Brett Dean, and Detlev Glanert
