Alexander Fleischer appointed professor in Trossingen

The Eisler alumnus and guest lecturer for solo accompaniment Alexander Fleischer has received a call to the Trossingen State Music Academy as a professor for song interpretation. He will take up his professorship in the 2022/23 winter semester. Since 2009 he has been teaching as a lecturer and since 2011 as a guest lecturer and assistant to KS Prof. Thomas Quasthoff at the Hanns Eisler School of Music in Berlin.

Alexander Fleischer completed his piano studies and postgraduate studies in lied interpretation with Prof. Wolfram Rieger at the Eisler and regularly performs at renowned festivals and concert halls in Germany and abroad. Since 2015 he has also been teaching song interpretation at the Würzburg University of Music.
