Berlin music students play for the benefit of Ukrainian war refugees

Patronage of the Minister of State for Culture and Media Claudia Roth

Berlin music students have joined forces and will play a cross-university benefit concert on March 12, 2022 in aid of Ukrainian war refugees in the concert hall of the Berlin University of the Arts. Musicians of various nationalities, including Ukrainian and Russian backgrounds, will perform an international program.

After a feeling of powerlessness in the face of the hundreds of thousands of suffering in this terrible war in Ukraine, the students of the UdK Berlin, the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin and the Barenboim-Said-Akademie have joined forces to help with the available funds - and organize a benefit concert. Chamber music ensembles and soloists from the three institutions will be heard in the concert. The concert program will be announced shortly.

The collected donations benefit “Aktion Deutschland Hilft” and “Voices of Children”. A minimum donation of 15 euros is requested.

The current pandemic regulations apply: 2G+ and FFP2 mask requirements.
